Country music had a big night at the 2017 Grammy Awards, from some familiar faces as well as some newer performers whose stock rose considerably. Check out the top moments from the 2017 Grammys in the video above.

Sturgill Simpson may very well be a top search term on Google after a huge night last night. He won a major award for his critically acclaimed album A Sailor's Guide to Earth, but what really put Simpson over the top was his performance of one of the tracks from the album. Simpson accomplished the nearly impossible task of following Lady Gaga and Metallica, and raised his profile considerably in the process.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill joined Keith Urban and several stars from across other genres in a hilarious sketch with James Corden that lampooned his car karaoke series, culminating in everyone singing a Neil Diamond classic, while songwriter Lori McKenna broke down and wept while accepting the Best Country Song Grammy for "Humble and Kind," which she wrote and McGraw made into an instant classic.

Urban and Carrie Underwood brought the heat to create another of the top moments from the 2017 Grammy Awards, but the night really belonged to Maren Morris, who not only walked away with one of country's top awards, she went viral with an incendiary performance with Alicia Keys that is probably being talked about over water coolers all across America today.
